The differences between SPF 50 sunscreen and other SPF levels mainly lie in the degree of protection offered against UVB radiation and the theoretical duration of protection. Thus, depending on the protection level, SPF 30 filters 96.7% of radiation, SPF 50 filters 98%, and SPF 15 provides 93% protection against UVB rays. However, for sensitive areas such as the face and décolletage, always choose a sunscreen with a high SPF.

SPF 50 sunscreen is suitable for children and sensitive skin. Many SPF 50 sunscreens are specially formulated for sensitive skin and children, being free from irritating ingredients such as fragrances, parabens, or alcohol. Products intended for sensitive skin and children often contain soothing and moisturizing ingredients like aloe vera and vitamin E, which help maintain skin health. However, NALA products have only been tested on adults.
