An effective routine will help cleanse, hydrate, and protect the skin without overwhelming or irritating it. In the morning, you can include: cleansing, toning, applying serum, moisturizing, and SPF. In the evening, follow with double cleansing (makeup removal + cleansing), toning, exfoliating, applying serum, and moisturizing.

For normal skin, it is important to choose cleansers that effectively cleanse without drying out or irritating the skin, such as micellar water, cleansing milk, or cleansing cream.
